The Barefoot Islands Cruise is an exclusive charter of the MSV Wind Surf with a maximum of only 312 passengers. We will be departing from/returning to Phillipsburg, St. Maarten (SXM). Local Knowledge will create a custom itinerary which has us visiting the smaller, out-of the-way islands and bays normally only accessible to smaller yachts. This will also allow us to remain anchored for extended periods of time, including late evening or overnight at most islands, so we may get a good feel for the local culture and nightlife.
St. Barts- Beautiful beaches, world class shopping, intriguing “people watching”, and cheeseburgers at the famous bar & restaurant Le Select.
Nevis- Home of the Domino College. Ride horses on the beach, keep an eye out for green vervet monkeys on a scenic island tour, or golf at Four Season’s Resort before an afternoon of barefoot fun and live music on Pinney’s Beach.
Anguilla- Dive, snorkel, or golf at Tenemos before gathering on the beach with live music at Rendezvous Bay, location of Jimmy Buffett’s Live in Anguilla.
Jost Van Dyke, BVI- Inspiration for Jimmy’s song Manana and location of Kenny Chesney’s video No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems. Snorkeling, beautiful white sand beaches, and legendary bars such as Foxy’s and Ivan’s. We’re anchored for the night!
Tortola, BVI- Home to Cane Garden Bay mentioned in the song Manana. Visit Callwood Rum distillery and relax to local music and drinks on the beach.
Virgin Gorda, BVI- Explore the grottos and waters of The Baths or spend the day in watersports heaven- snorkel, scuba, kayak. Big beach party afternoon with live music.
